Abstract
The invention relates to an electrical drive axle (2) for a vehicle (1). The electrical drive axle (2) comprises an electrical motor (10) and a gearing (3). The electrical motor (10) comprises a rotor (11) mechanically connected to a rotor shaft (12). The gearing (3) comprises an input shaft (4) and an output shaft (5). The output shaft (5) is arranged coaxially to the rotor shaft (12). The input shaft (4) is operatively connected to the rotor shaft (12). The output shaft (5) is configured to receive cooling fluid. The output shaft (5) is also configured to enable at least a part of the received cooling fluid to flow from the output shaft (5) to the rotor shaft (12) for cooling the rotor (11). The invention also relates to a vehicle (1) with the electrical drive axle (2).
