Abstract

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for network energy saving in a wireless communication system. A method performed by a terminal, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, comprises the steps of: receiving pattern information for an active period and an inactive period of cell-related DTX/DRX; and performing measurement on at least one of a serving cell or a neighbor cell on the basis of the pattern information. Here, on the basis of the measurement for the serving cell being performed during the inactive period, the measurement for the serving cell during the inactive period may correspond to restricted measurement performed on the basis of a preset condition.
