Abstract
A method and a device for supporting protection of a control frame in a wireless LAN system are disclosed. The method performed by a first STA in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, may comprise the steps of: identifying key information related to protection of a control frame; receiving, from a second STA, the control frame to which the protection is applied; generating, on the basis of the control frame, additional authentication data (AAD) related to the protection; and performing decoding and/or integrity checking on the control frame on the basis of the key information and the AAD. Here, the AAD can have at least one field in a MAC header of the control frame, or can have a combination of at least one field in the MAC header of the control frame and at least one field in a frame body.
