Abstract

The invention is directed at a cooling device (12) for cooling an electronic component (20) of an electronic assembly (10) of a motor vehicle (42), wherein the cooling device (12) comprises a cooling channel bed (40) for circulating a cooling liquid. The cooling channel bed (40) is formed within a cavity (28), which is at least partially confined by a base plate (24) of the cooling device (12) and by a housing cap (14.1) of a housing (14) of the electronic assembly (10), wherein the housing cap (14.1) comprises a cap plate (14.1.1) and a cap rim (14.1.2), which extends at an angle from the cap plate (14.1.1), wherein for sealing the cavity (28), the base plate (24) and the housing cap (14.1) are connected to one another in a fluid-tight manner on an inner surface of the cap rim (14.1.2).
