Abstract

The invention is directed at a connector (10) for connecting a cooling plate (22) to a coolant circuit, the cooling plate (22) being arranged inside a housing (20) of a device to be cooled. The connector (10) comprises a tubular outer peripheral surface (18) having a first axial end portion (12) with a first annular bead (32), which can be connected to the coolant circuit. The connector (10) comprises a second axial end portion (14) with a second annular bead (36), wherein in an arrangement of the connector (10) in which it is inserted through an opening (30) of the housing (20) into a coupling portion (28) of the cooling plate (22), the second annular bead (36) bears against a wall portion of the housing (20) in the area of the opening (30) and shields the opening (30) against an environment of the housing (20).
