Abstract
A liquid multi-nozzle jet-impingement cooling device (100, 104, 100A, 104A) may include microjet multi-nozzle plate (150), outlet plate (130), inlet plate (120), outlet flow plate (160) and cover plate (170). Cover plate is coupled to outlet flow plate, which is coupled to inlet plate, which is coupled to outlet plate, which is coupled to microjet multi-nozzle plate. First inlet through hole (171) of cover plate is fluidly and outlet through hole (178) of sub-outlet plenums (175, 177) of cover plate are respectively fluidly coupled to chamber (155) of microjet multi-nozzle plate. Chamber is sealably mounted on surface of processor (140). Third inlet orifice arrays (153) of microjet multi-nozzle plate directs liquid coolant to surface of processor and first outlet orifice arrays (158) of microjet multi-nozzle plate directs liquid coolant away from surface of processor.
