Abstract
An organic solid upconversion material includes: two or more triplet sensitizers; and an organic luminescent material. The two or more triplet sensitizers have respective maximum absorption wavelengths λ<sub>MAX</sub>(TS) different from each other in a wavelength region longer than a maximum emission wavelength λ<sub>MAX</sub>(EM) of the organic luminescent material. A lowest triplet energy of each of the two or more triplet sensitizers is equal to or larger than a lowest triplet energy of the organic luminescent material, and a lowest singlet energy of each of the two or more triplet sensitizers is smaller than a lowest singlet energy of the organic luminescent material.
