Abstract

An information processing system includes a processor configured to: in a case of connecting a second serial interface provided in an electronic device to a first serial interface provided in the information processing system, execute verification of connection information, which is information used for connecting the second serial interface, in a predetermined order; recognize the connection information of the second serial interface based on a verification result of the connection information of the second serial interface; and in a case where the information processing system transitions to a power saving mode and then returns to a normal state and in a case where previous connection information of the second serial interface has been acquired, connect the electronic device using the previous connection information.
