Abstract

An image processing device includes: an image acquisition part configured to acquire a target image in which fibers are captured; a first segmentation part configured to generate a first segmentation result indicating regions in which the fibers are individually detected in the target image, respectively, using an individual-object segmentation model; a second segmentation part configured to generate a second segmentation result indicating regions in which the fibers are captured in the target image; a thinning part configured to generate a first thinning result and a second thinning result that are the first segmentation result and the second segmentation result subjected to thinning, respectively; and a result output part configured to output an analysis result indicating axes of the fibers included in the target image based on the first thinning result and the second thinning result.
