Abstract

The disclosure relates to a method for determining a driveable zone (12) for a vehicle (10). The method comprises obtaining first data indicative of a surrounding of the vehicle (10) and obtaining second data indicative of a surrounding of the vehicle (10). The first data is based on first sensor data from a sensor of a first type. The second data is based on second sensor data from a sensor of a second type. The method further comprises obtaining third data based on the first data and the second data. The third data is indicative of a grid map comprising a plurality of grid cells. At least one of the plurality of grid cells is indicated as driveable or non-driveable. Additionally, the method comprises obtaining fourth data based on the third data. The fourth data is indicative of a polygon (68) at least partially delimiting the driveable zone (12). Furthermore, a method for controlling a vehicle (10), a data processing apparatus, a vehicle (10), a computer program, and a computer-readable storage medium are presented.
