Abstract

An information processing system comprises: a first traffic regulation information acquisition unit that acquires first traffic regulation information from a captured image of an external camera of a vehicle; a second traffic regulation information acquisition unit that acquires second traffic regulation information from map information associated with information related to traffic regulations and positional information of the vehicle on a map; and an information processing unit that processes the second traffic regulation information as a correction candidate when, in a case where contents of the first traffic regulation information and the second traffic regulation information at the same position are different, it is determined from a travel history of the vehicle that the vehicle was traveling so as to comply with the traffic regulation of the first traffic regulation information.
