Abstract

A solid-state battery includes: a positive electrode current collector; a positive electrode layer disposed on at least one main face of the positive electrode current collector; and a solid electrolyte layer that is disposed on the positive electrode layer and an insulating layer that is contiguous with the end portion of the solid electrolyte layer, wherein the end portion of the insulating layer opposite from the end portion contiguous with the solid electrolyte layer is in a position overlying the positive electrode layer.
