Abstract
Proposed are a method and an apparatus for beamforming by using an optimized V matrix on the basis of results of sounding in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a reception STA receives an NDPA frame from a transmission STA. The reception STA receives an NDP frame from the transmission STA. The reception STA transmits a feedback frame to the transmission STA. The reception STA receives beamformed data from the transmission STA on the basis of a V matrix optimized for smooth beamforming. The optimized V matrix is calculated by multiplying the fed-back V matrix by a diagonal matrix.
