Abstract

Modular Exoskeleton for Home and Community UseAn exoskeleton comprising detachable modular elements which are connected via electrical and/or mechanical means characterized in that said modular system comprises:- a back module,- a hip link,- a preferably motorized hip module,- a thigh link,- a preferably motorized knee module,- a shank link, and- a foot module,wherein the back module is connected to the hip module via the hip link, the hip module is connected to the knee module via the thigh link, the knee module is connected to the foot module via the shank link and wherein at least the hip link and the thigh link have tubular shape.
