Abstract

Provided is a recycling method that uses a recycling system that comprises a resource treatment facility and a used absorbent article recycling facility, the method making it possible to further improve treatment efficiency. This recycling method is a used absorbent article recycling method that uses a recycling system (A) that comprises a resource treatment facility (2) and a used absorbent article recycling facility (1). The recycling method includes a dehydration washing step (S12) for dehydrating and washing used absorbent articles with a treatment liquid that includes a dehydrating agent at a recycling facility, a separation step (S13) for separating the treatment liquid from the constituent components of the used absorbent articles at the recycling facility, a treatment liquid usage step (S24) for using a portion of the treatment liquid separated at the separation step at a resource treatment facility, and a waste heat usage step (S14) for using a portion of the waste heat generated at the resource treatment facility at the recycling facility.
