Abstract

It is an object of the present disclosure to provide an improved LPDC process, in particular with increased pressure stability. According to a first aspect of the disclosure, the technical problem is solved by a gasket testing method for testing a function of a riser tube gasket, performed by a gasket testing device, in particular according to a second aspect of the disclosure. The method comprises: mounting the gasket testing device to a riser tube assembly comprising the riser tube gasket, such that an enclosure is created between the gasket testing device and at least part of the riser tube assembly; applying a gas pressure to the riser tube gasket by changing a gas pressure in the enclosure; and after applying the gas pressure, determining if gas passes the riser tube gasket based on the gas pressure in the enclosure.
