Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a welding defect detection system and method capable of ensuring the safety and performance of the secondary battery by detecting defects of the welding part of the secondary battery. The system for detecting welding defects for a welding part of a secondary battery includes a primary detection module configured to detect and collect multidimensional image data for a welding part of a secondary battery, a data management module configured to store and manage the primary detection data, a secondary detection module configured to determine whether there is a defect in the welding part based on the stored and managed data, and a result transmission module configured to provide a determination result to a manufacturing execution system.
