Abstract
An inkjet head includes nozzles arranged at different height positions, respectively. A purging unit is configured to discharge ink from the nozzles by positive pressure purging. A controller is configured to: cause the purging unit to discharge the ink from the nozzles by the positive pressure purging at a purging pressure suiting a reference nozzle that is a nozzle other than a nozzle of the nozzles at a highest position in maintenance of the inkjet head; and then perform flushing in each nozzle of the nozzles at positions above the reference nozzle such that the higher the position of the nozzle is, the greater an ejection amount of the ink is.
