Abstract

The present disclosure relates generally to methods and systems for the generation of high purity hydrogen with the cryogenic recovery of carbon dioxide (CO<2>). The disclosure can involve an integrated system to make hydrogen in a hydrogen manufacturing unit and separate process gases containing CO<2> and various other gases with integrated dryer adsorber vessel regeneration to achieve moderate to high capture rates of CO<2>. In addition, but not by way of limitation, this disclosure relates to methods to reduce the carbon footprint and improve process efficiencies in a hydrogen manufacturing unit or process with CO<2> removal.
