Abstract

A modular drain unit (1), in particular for making underground basins, comprises a base plate (2) and a plurality of pillars (3) extending from a flat face (4) of the base plate (2) and are integrally joined to the base plate (2) along respective root edges (11); the pillars (3) are arranged in rows and columns on the base plate (2) and are arranged in groups (20) of pillars (3), each group (20) being formed by a plurality of pillars (3) arranged side by side on at least one row and at least one column; the pillars (3) of each group (20) are at a predetermined distance from each other along the rows and columns, and pillars (3) of adjacent groups (20) are arranged at a greater distance than the distance between pillars (3) of the same group (20); the pillars (3) of each group (20) are joined by ribs (21) extending from said face (4) of the base plate (2) and joining respective lateral walls (16) of facing pillars (3) of the group (20).
