Abstract

The disclosure relates to a computer-implemented method of updating radio firmware of a radio of a robotic container-handling vehicle in an automated storage and retrieval system, the method comprising: determining whether a bootloader of the radio is capable of updating the radio firmware to an updated radio firmware version; responsive to determining that the bootloader is not capable of updating the radio firmware to the updated radio firmware version, uploading bootloader update firmware to the robotic container-handling vehicle; and responsive to determining that the bootloader has been updated with the bootloader update firmware, uploading the updated radio firmware version to the robotic container-handling vehicle.
