Abstract

A computer implemented method of detecting and/or monitoring brain focal abnormalities correlated with a progression of neurological diseases comprising feature calculation (350) by applying at least one geometric feature filter (351, 352, 353, 354) to at least one sequence to obtain at least one feature map concatenation (360) of the at least one sequence of the normalized MRI image and the at least one feature map to obtain input for the machine learning model and processing (370) of the input with a machine learning model, in encoder-decoder architecture, trained to return probability map corresponding to the at least one brain structure with use of real sequences and synthetic sequences. The invention further concerns computer program product, computer system and method of training.
