Abstract

A method of producing a negative electrode slurry comprises:a first kneading step to knead a negative electrode active material containing carbon particles, a water-soluble polymer, and water at a kneading load (1a) of 2.2 Wh/kg or less, and then knead at a kneading load (1b), wherein the kneading load (1b) is more than the kneading load (1a) and within a range of 2.0 to 11.6 Wh/kg; anda second kneading step to knead a kneaded product obtained in the first kneading step, a binder other than the water-soluble polymer, and water at a kneading load (2) of 0.5 Wh/kg or less.
