Abstract
An energy storage device according to one aspect of the present invention includes: a plurality of electrode body units each having an electrode body in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode are laminated, and an isolation layer laminated on an outermost surface of the electrode body; and a container accommodating the plurality of electrode body units and having a safety valve, in which the plurality of electrode body units adjacent to each other are in contact with each other at the isolation layers, the isolation layer includes a resin layer and an inorganic layer, and a total thickness of the isolation layers that separate the electrode bodies in the plurality of electrode body units adjacent to each other is 50 µm or more and 110 µm or less.
