Abstract
An image decoding/encoding method and apparatus according to the present disclosure can acquire a prediction sample of a current block, generate a virtual sample for the current block, derive a parameter for model-based compensation of the current block on the basis of the prediction sample and the virtual sample of the current block, and acquire a corrected prediction sample by applying the parameter to the prediction sample of the current block.
