Abstract
A dual-personal area network (PAN) router receives one or more fields of a frame of a PAN on a channel; determines that the dual-PAN router is not to route the frame to a PAN based on the one or more received fields and before the entire frame is received; and switches to receive on another channel for a transmission duration of the frame by an end device in response to the determination.
