Abstract

The disclosure relates to a stud welding head (200). The stud welding head (200) comprises a housing (210), a movable positioning leg (220) being configured to move with respect to the housing (210). Moreover, the stud welding head (200) comprises at least one spatter removing blade (230) being rigidly fixed to the housing (210). A cutting edge (231) of the at least one spatter removing blade (230) is arranged adjacent to a surface of the movable positioning leg (220), such that a movement of the movable positioning leg (220) at least partially removes a weld spatter accumulated (291), from stud welding, on the surface of the movable positioning leg (220). The disclosure further relates to a system for stud welding.
