Abstract

The invention relates to a packaging machine comprising a cutting assembly (100) configured for longitudinally cutting a film. The cutting assembly (100) comprises a rotary shaft (1), a cutting disc (10) associated with the rotary shaft (1) with the possibility of axial displacement, an auxiliary member (20) configured to cooperate with the cutting disc (10) to cut the film, and a mechanism (3) configured to cause axial displacement of the cutting disc (10). The mechanism (3) comprises a first element (30) attached to the cutting disc (10); a second element (35) attached to the rotary shaft (1); a chamber (32) confined between these two elements (30, 35); and means for causing a pressure change inside the chamber (32) to displace the cutting disc (10).
