Abstract

An electric outboard motor for propelling a boat. The electric outboard motor includes an outer case that forms at least a part of an outer shell of the electric outboard motor and that is to be disposed underwater, a propeller rotatably supported by the outer case, a motor provided inside the outer case and configured to rotate the propeller, and a liquid or semi-solid cooling medium interposed between an outer peripheral surface of the motor and an inner surface of the outer case.
