Abstract

The invention relates to a conveyor system (1) comprising a product carrier (11) including at least one puck (25), at least one loading station (3), at least one unloading station (5), at least one transport conveyor, wherein the loading station (3) comprises an infeed (17) configured to receive products (P) and to deliver the products (P) to a loading position (15) of the loading station (3), a loading conveyor (27) configured to transport the product carrier (11) stepwise in a transport direction (T) through the loading station (3) and to successively align compartments (13) of the product carrier (11) with the loading position (15), wherein the loading conveyor (27) comprises a pair of primary transport belts (47), and wherein the primary transport belts (47) are configured to clamp the at least one puck (25) of the product carrier (11) for conveying the product carrier (11) in the transport direction (T).
