Abstract
A compact bevel gear split torque gearbox is disclosed. A disclosed example apparatus includes a first pinion to receive an input torque, a second pinion operatively coupled to the first pinion, an output gear operatively coupled to the first and second pinions, and a continuously variable (CV) adapter operatively coupled between the first and second pinions, the CV adapter having a helical spline.
