Abstract

A robot is mounted on a cart configured to autonomously travel and includes an arm of which the position and the orientation of a tip are arbitrarily changeable, a vision sensor attached to the tip of the arm, a detection unit configured to detect the amount of deviation of the cart relative to a designated path, based on a marker included in an image captured by the vision sensor, and a travel instruction unit configured to instruct the cart to correct a traveling position or a traveling orientation of the cart, based on the amount of deviation.
