Abstract

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide an anode layer of which volume change amount is suppressed. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing an anode layer including a composite active material, a carbon-based active material, and a binder, wherein the composite active material includes a Si-based active material, and a carbon-containing layer covering at least a part of a surface of the Si-based active material; the carbon-based active material includes a hydroxyl group on its surface; and the binder is a hydrophobic binder including an aromatic group ring.
