Abstract
A battery pack according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a plurality of battery modules; and a heat diffusion prevention unit provided between adjacent battery modules, wherein the heat diffusion prevention unit maintains a spacing between the battery modules, blocks heat transfer, and provides a discharge path such that gas generated during thermal runaway of any one of the battery modules can be discharged upward.
