Abstract
The invention relates to a locking mechanism (100) for a plug connection (400) of a plug connector (300) and a mating connector (402) mated therewith in the plug direction (108). The locking mechanism (100) comprises: a holding collar (102) with a through hole (106), which can be pushed onto the plug connector (300) and wherein the holding collar (102) has at least one bail retainer (112); and a bail (104) having holding elements (132) with connection elements (136) for connection with the mating connector (402). At least one section (130) of the bail (104) can be engaged with the at least one bail retainer (112) to secure the plug connection (400). The invention further relates to a plug connection (400) with a locking mechanism (100), wherein in an assembled state (404), the plug connector (300) and the mating connector (402) are connected to each other.
