Abstract
The invention relates to a method, implemented by computer means of a telecommunication device , for inserting reference signals, said telecommunication device comprising a modulator, said method comprising: obtaining a sequence of signal samples, by inserting reference signals according to at least one reference signal pattern within a sequence of data samples ; feeding said modulator with signal blocks obtained from said sequence of signal samples wherein: the positions, in said sequence of signal samples, of the reference signals inserted according to each of said at least one reference signal pattern are a proper subset of a finite arithmetic progression ; said proper subset comprises at least three terms of the finite arithmetic progression, said at least three terms comprising the initial term of the finite arithmetic progression, and the final term of the finite arithmetic progression.
