Abstract

A terminal apparatus performs, at a first timing, first measurement of a predetermined signal transmitted by a base station apparatus, in order to select a beam to be used in communication with the terminal apparatus, and performs, at a third timing between a second timing corresponding to a radio resource to be used for reporting a result of the first measurement and the first timing, second measurement based on a signal, in a case of receiving the signal transmitted from the base station apparatus with the same beam as the predetermined signal, and transmitting a result of the second measurement to the base station apparatus instead of the result of the first measurement in a case where the second measurement is performed, and transmitting the result of the first measurement to the base station apparatus in a case where the second measurement is not performed.
