Abstract

The present disclosure generally relates to a sensor assembly (1) for use in conjunction with a medical dressing (2) or a bandage; the sensor assembly (1) comprising an electrically conductive wire (3) and a plurality of adhesive sensor strips (4a-f) arranged to extend outwardly from the wire (3), wherein each of the sensor strips (4a-f) comprises at least one sensor (5a-c) configured to monitor at least one parameter indicative of infection, wherein a distal end of the wire (3) is configured for connection with a separate processing device (6). The present disclosure also relates to a medical dressing assembly (10) comprising the sensor assembly (1) and a medical dressing (2) or a bandage.
