Abstract

Disclosed is a method for producing a tooling component (200, 350), the method comprising: producing a casting mold (300) for steel casting the tooling component, wherein producing the casting mold comprises producing a ceramic core (340) by fused filament fabrication, the ceramic core defines at least a part of a conformal cooling channel (210, 360) in the tooling component; steel casting the tooling component with the casting mold, the ceramic core producing at least a part of the conformal cooling channel in the tooling component; removing the ceramic core from the tooling component. Disclosed is further a steel tooling component and a use of a steel tooling component.
