Abstract

An image forming device (I) includes: a conveyance unit (3) that holds and conveys an image forming medium (P) on a conveyance surface (10a); and an image forming unit (2) that forms an image on the image forming medium (P) conveyed by the conveyance unit (3), in which the image forming unit (2) includes a plurality of head rows (L1 - L8) in each of which a plurality of image forming heads (20) are arranged at intervals in a head arrangement direction (Y) perpendicular to a conveyance direction (X) in which the image forming medium (P) is conveyed by the conveyance unit (3), the plurality of head rows (L1 - L8) being provided at positions different in the conveyance direction (X), and air blowing units (30) that are arranged between at least some of the plurality of image forming heads (20) in the head arrangement direction (Y) in at least some of the plurality of head rows (L1 - L8) and blow air in the head arrangement direction (Y).
