Abstract

A battery (17) of a vehicle is located behind an engine (10) and below front seats (15), and is arranged over a center of the vehicle in a lateral direction. The engine includes an exhaust pipe (EP). The exhaust pipe is connected to the engine in front of the battery, extends along a lateral side of the battery, and is configured to discharge exhaust gas out of the vehicle behind the battery. The battery (17) includes a first portion at a side of the center of the vehicle where the exhaust pipe (EP) is located, and a second portion at a side of the center of the vehicle opposite to the side where the exhaust pipe is located. The first portion includes a part having a lateral dimension that is less than a lateral dimension of the second portion.
