Abstract

The invention relates to a packaging machine and a control method. The machine comprises a former member (2) configured to receive a film (300) and to give a tubular shape to said film (300), a film tube (500) with an inner surface being generated. The machine (100) further comprises a cutting device (4) for transversely cutting a continuous absorbent material (400), an absorbent material portion (400.1) on one side of the cut being obtained; and an actuating device configured to cause contact between the absorbent material portion (400.1) and a contact surface (300.1) of the film (300), for attaching said absorbent material portion (400.1) to said contact surface (300.1) of the film (300). Said contact surface (300.1) is the inner surface of the film tube (500) once said film tube (500) has been formed.
