Abstract
The present invention relates to an adhesive for bonding a floor covering. This adhesive comprises, inter alia, one or more bonding promoters, comprising a triethylene glycol-esterified rosin resin, in a concentration between 10 wt% and 30 wt%, one or more adhesion promoters, comprising an acrylonitrile copolymer, in a concentration between 20 wt% and 50 wt%, and one or more open time extenders in a concentration between 1 wt% and 5 wt%. The floor adhesive has, when applied to a substrate in a thickness of 0.1 mm to 2 mm, an open time at 23°C and 50% relative humidity of between 30 minutes and 60 minutes, measured in accordance with EN 14293.
