Abstract

An electronic device (1500) comprises: a battery (1520); one or more processors (1540); and a memory (1530) storing instructions, which, when executed by the one or more processors (1540), cause the electronic device (1500) to: store an updated parameter value of at least one target parameter selected from among a plurality of degradation parameters based on monitoring of the battery (1520); determine parameter values of the other parameters based on the updated parameter value of the at least one target parameter; estimate a battery state of the battery (1520) based on the updated parameter value of the at least one target parameter and the determined parameter values of the other parameters, using a battery state estimation model; update the parameter values of the other parameters based on the estimated battery state; and determine an updated battery state based on the updated parameter value of the at least one target parameter and the updated parameter values of the other parameters.
