The method includes: obtaining a to-be-denoised photon statistics map generated for a target scene, wherein for any pixel in the to-be-denoised photon statistics map corresponding to a photon statistics data sequence; encoding the to-be-denoised photon statistics map using an encoder included in a pre-trained denoising model to obtain encoded data; performing computation on the encoded data using a bottleneck layer included in the denoising model to obtain to-be-decoded data; decoding the to-be-decoded data using a decoder included in the denoising model to obtain a denoised photon statistics map; and generating a depth map corresponding to the target scene based on peak data corresponding to pixels in the denoised photon statistics map.
