Abstract

An image noise level estimation method includes: acquiring an original image to be subjected to noise level estimation; performing noise level estimation on the original image to obtain an initial noise level estimation map, wherein the initial noise level estimation map includes initial noise level estimation values respectively corresponding to pixel points in the original image; processing the original image using a pre-trained image texture estimation model to obtain a noise level calibration coefficient map, wherein noise level calibration coefficients in the noise level calibration coefficient map are used to reduce the noise levels of texture regions in the original image and to increase the noise levels of flat regions in the original image; and calibrating the noise levels in the initial noise level estimation map using the noise level calibration coefficients included in the noise level calibration coefficient map to obtain a calibrated noise level estimation map.
