Abstract
A battery module includes a plurality of battery cells, a cooling plate positioned on the plurality of battery cells and including a main flow path, a first supply portion for supplying coolant to the main flow path, and a second supply portion for supplying fire extinguishing fluid to the main flow path, wherein the coolant and the fire extinguishing fluid are selectively supplied to the main flow path.
