Abstract
An energy storage system (100) comprising: a housing (102) configured to accommodate at least one battery module (104); a mounting plate (106) including at least one battery disconnect unit (108a-b) configured to be connected to the at least one battery module; and a sliding mechanism (110a-b) configured to allow the mounting plate to slide into and out of the housing through a mounting opening (112) arranged to receive the mounting plate.
