Abstract

Disclosed in the present disclosure are an image or video processing method, a coder, a decoder and a coding/decoding system. The method comprises: acquiring a first candidate parameter list, wherein the first candidate parameter list is a candidate parameter list of a cross-component prediction merge mode CCPMERGE, the first candidate parameter list comprises a plurality of candidate parameters, and at least one of the plurality of candidate parameters includes a parameter for predictive boosting filtering (PBF); and on the basis of a selected candidate parameter, predicting chroma information of a current block in an image so as to generate a chroma prediction block. The present disclosure can simultaneously retain the respective advantages of CCPMERGE and PBF, thereby improving the coding and decoding performance.
