Abstract

The present disclosure relates to an aerosol-generating device having a main body and a mouthpiece body, the mouthpiece body comprising a lip-engaging portion and an article-receiving portion, the article-receiving portion having a cavity configured to receive an article comprising aerosol-forming material, wherein the mouthpiece body is moveable with respect to the main body so as to provide a first retracted position wherein the article-receiving portion is located within the main body and the lip-engaging portion extend from the main body, and an extended position wherein the cavity is exposed, such that an article may be inserted or removed.
